Sonoma CDS 2008 Shows

The Shelly Siegel Show will be held June 6th - 8th at Santa Rosa Equestrian Center, 3184 Guerneville Road, Santa Rosa, CA. It will be host to the Shelly Siegel Dressage Sport Horse Show June 6th, and the Regional Adult Amatuer Competition RAAC June 7th & 8th. Stabling:
Stabling Check in to begin at noon on Thursday. Portable Stalls with Dutch Doors $185 for the show includes one bale of shavings. Lighting provided: NO PLUG-IN ELECTRICITY. Limited permanent stabling $200 for the show, contact Tracy Underwood prior to the event at 707-566-0500.
Stabling for Breed show only, $100 and stall must be vacated by 5p.m. Friday- includes one bale of shavings. Haul in fee is $25 per day for horses not stabled.

Host of the Northern
Regional Adult Amateur Competion - RAAC

The NORTHERN RAAC show will be held JUNE 6, 7, and 8, 2008 in SANTA ROSA and is hosted by the SONOMA Chapter.This show is a stepping stone for all of our Adult Amateur riders. With the two divisions offered, Elite and Novice, these competitions will provide a special show that could be used as a "practice" run for those Elite riders who will be competing at the Annual Championship Show at LAEC in October 2008. For the novice rider it will provide an alternative championship show type atmosphere for those not yet ready move up to the championship level of competition.

The entry closing for the Sonoma CDS Shelly Siegel REMAINS May 18. If you are planning to qualify on the weekend of May 24-25, submit a tentative entry to the Shelly Siegel, stating when and where you intend to obtain the scores for the RAAC. We will not process the entry until your scores are confirmed, but space in the show will be held for you. PLEASE state specifically if you want us to return the entry if you do not qualify, or if you plan to attend the show and ride in the normally scheduled classes.

Barbeque! Wine! Live Music!

Gather up your friends, barnmates, rock and roll groupies, and general rabble rousers because the Sonoma Chapter of CDS is throwing a barbecue party, and it’s going to be an extravaganza. Barbecue! Wine! Live Music! Dancing! Imagine all this in a beautiful wine country, lakefront setting.

The party takes place on Saturday, after the dressage classes of the Shelly Siegel Show, but you don’t have to be showing to come to the barbecue.

The Sonoma Chapter of CDS is inviting all its members and their friends to come and enjoy our annual barbecue. Imagine yourself at a table with your friends, relaxing under the stars, enjoying a glass of wine with your dinner and grooving to the beat of “Raisin’ Cain”. Sounds like fun, huh?! Here are the details. What: Barbecue Party featuring “Raisin’ Cain” a rockin’ blues band playing music from the late 1960’s and 70’s. Where: Santa Rosa Equestrian Center on Guerneville Road in Santa Rosa. When: Saturday, June 7 at 6pm. Price: $10 includes dinner, wine and soft drinks, live music and dancing. Pay at the door. Who: All chapter members, their friends and families are invited.
